FOUNDER BIOGRAPHY
Jillian Romero Chaves
Jillian Romero Chaves is currently a Managing Director at OREMOR Automotive Group and is responsible for spearheading the digital transformation of the marketing and software technology strategies of the OREMOR group, along with its various individual dealerships.
OREMOR Automotive Group consists of 15 award-winning dealerships across California with one in Texas and represents multiple brands including Toyota, Nissan, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Jeep, Chrysler, Ram, Dodge, Fiat, Lexus, BMW, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter in addition to Nissan and Dodge commercial Vans. With locations in Ontario, Riverside, Orange County, Los Angeles County, San Diego, Temecula, Fresno, and Dallas.
Under Jillian’s leadership, OREMOR Automotive Group has dramatically decreased their advertising costs while increasing overall consumer traffic using an integrated digital and traditional marketing strategy resulting in over 50,000 annual vehicle sales. As Managing Director Jillian is responsible for oversight of all marketing strategies along with all sales and service technology software utilized within her group.
Jillian currently serves as the President of the Ontario Auto Center Advisory Board representing nineteen independent dealerships where over 30,000 new vehicles are sold annually. Jillian has taken a similar digital transformation approach during her time as President in identifying the best platforms to reach and make the most meaningful impressions on a large and diverse demographic audience while easing the consumer’s online experience. She also serves as a Board of Trustee Member for the Greater Los Angeles Zoo where she continues to commit herself on the marketing and mission and vision committee.
At the end of 2019 Jillian founded her own technology startup company and brand Hungry Unicorns LLC with the goal to create technology solutions and help to support and partner with underrepresented founders. Since then, her and her Hungry Unicorns partner and co-founder Tsega Worku have successfully secured foundational VC dollars to kickstart their first technology product within the event and business space. Jillian and Tsega are proud to join the growing ranks of the woman and minority owned start ups within the tech space.
Jillian graduated from Webb High School in Claremont and continued her education at Georgetown University in Washington, DC where she graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies and a minor in Theater and Performing Arts. During her time at Georgetown, she was an active member of the Leadership in Diversity Student Committee and lent her support within the LGBT community with her acting participation in LGBT written and produced plays. She is a current member of YPO Pasadena Chapter along with the California Club and maintains close community ties in all communities in which her businesses serve. Her goal is to one day open a community theater for at-risk youth wanting to create a safe place for children to express themselves and help to nurture the next generation of Hungry Unicorns.
